Chiltern Archery Beginners Course

Learn the fun sport of archery the best way possible, at Europe's largest archery centre.

We offer beginners courses in 4 lessons of 1 hour, run anytime during our regular opening hours.

How to book

Our online booking form below allows you to reserve a course place. Then, just give us a call on 01296 630919 to arrange time and dates to suit you.

If you wish to book more than one course place, please complete the form with the first person's information, press 'add to cart' then click onto the product item again and add the next persons information.

Our courses a run by highly experienced GNAS certified coaches, with all equipment is provided.

We recommend that you don't purchase your own shooting equipment before the course, as you might buy kit that doesn't suit you and therefore it could potentially be dangerous.

Our aim by the end of session 4 is to get you enjoying archery and feeling confident enough to join an archery club afterwards if you wish.

At the end of the course you will recieve a certificate of competence. Every target archery club in Great Britain will require a certificate to show that an official archery beginners course has been completed.

The usual minimum age for children is 8 years old. But if you have a child between the ages of 6 and 8 years who is keen to do the beginners course, bring them along to the archery centre and we will be able to advise as to whether they might need to wait another year or so before being able to take part.  

PLEASE NOTE: All juniors under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an appropraite adult (the adult does not need to book onto the course, but they do need to stay for the duration of the session).
